The World Lily Gardens

Many species and cultivars of lilies are grown on the area for about 5 hectares.
And the people can enjoy the other plants such as Wisteria or Magnolias, too.

Lilies of July

In July pure white L. candidum (Madonna Lily) bloom and after those, L. japonicum (Sasa Yuri), which is endemic to Japan, follows.
It is also mid July that about 15,000 L. regale (Regal Lily) make their community white with their flowers.
The vivid coloured Central Garden and the Star-Shaped Garden are at their best in early and mid July. In last July, Aurelian Hybrids start blooming.

Lilies of August

In early August L. auratum (Gold band lily), and in mid August Oriental Hybrids start blooming.
From late August through late September, L. speciosum (Showy lily) and L.
formosanum (Takasago yuri) bloom and they mark the end of the flower season of the World Lily Garden.
